What is a Private Placement?
/A private placement is a financing sale method where the District works with a municipal advisor and placement agent to sell the bonds directly to a single investor. Typically a private placement is utilized for general obligation bonds with the following characteristics:
- Structure that consists solely of current interest bonds
- Small financing size
- Short financing term
